Volunteer Ambassadors are needed to support the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) during the 2019 AAU National Club Championships for Track and Field at Walt Disney World Resort.
The AAU National Club Championships are designed to place an emphasis on the team aspect of the sport. It is also an additional opportunity to qualify for the 2019 AAU Junior Olympic Games. The participants are boys and girls, ranging in age from primary school to high school.
Volunteer Ambassador opportunities are available for start/finish line, field events, clerk’s tent and awards tent. Please check back soon for dates.
The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) offers amateur sports programs through a volunteer base that develops amateur athletes physically, mentally and morally.
The AUU was founded in 1888 to establish standards in amateur sports. It promotes good sportsmanship and is a leader in international sports.

As part of the registration process, all participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to make a donation to the Amateur Athletic Union. In honor of the AAU National Club Championships for Track and Field, runDisney is thrilled to make an independent donation to Amateur Athletic Union. Your registration and participation will not affect the amount donated.

All Volunteer Ambassadors assisting on behalf of the Amateur Athletic Union during the 2019 AAU National Club Championships for Track and Field at Walt Disney World Resort must fulfill the following requirements:
Volunteer Ambassador opportunities for the 2019 AAU National Club Championships for Track and Field will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Schedules are always subject to change due to event needs.
Although every effort will be made to accommodate your selection, the Volunteer Ambassador office reserves the right to schedule volunteers based on event needs, which includes placing volunteers on a waiting list. You will receive a confirmed volunteer schedule closer to the event.
Volunteer Ambassadors will receive confirmation of their scheduled opportunities via mail approximately 30 days prior to the event or email after that time. Confirmation will include information on parking, directions and other useful matters.
All Volunteer Ambassadors must sign a waiver to obtain credentials and participate.
If you are picking up a credential for another volunteer, please print the waiver and have it signed in advance by the participant. Volunteers under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent/legal guardian.
